SafeRent Score

SafeRent ScoreThe SafeRent score predicts the likelihood a tenant will fulfill a lease obligation, and the probability that the lease will be beneficial to the landlord.

Unlike Credit Score, the SafeRent Score DO considers annual income, requested rent amount and rental history.

The SafeRent score ranges between 200 to 800, and according to CoreLogic in most cases is much lower than one’s FICO score.

Each individual score is based on data from multiple sources, including

  • Application information
  • Payment performance
  • Eviction history
  • Past due accounts
  • Bankruptcy records
  • Credit bureau data and scores
  • Annual income
  • Requested rent

In addition to SafeRent score, CoreLogic provides landlords with information such as Average SafeRent Score in the region (by Zip code, city, and metro), Applicant’s income to rent ration and more.
