Anybody knows what SafeRent lender is? I have an inquiry on my credit report from SafeRent, and I don’t remember of ever asking a loan from that lender. Should I dispute it?

Did you apply for rental lately? If you did than would certainly explain it…
For some reason most people aren’t familiar with SafeRent, which is the largest rental screening service provider in the nation. It supply tenant screening services to more than 30% of the US property management companies.
When you apply for rent and provide the landlord permission to pull your credit reports, the property manager would usually turn to SafeRent (or other company) for information about your rental history and credit status.
SafeRent, in turn pulls your credit report from the credit bureaus in behalf of the property manager, and this is how you inquired a SafeRent Inquiry on your credit report.
If you did apply for rent, don’t bother disputing. It won’t do any good.
